Are you looking to volunteer at WordCamp Calgary 2019? We’d love to have you! WordCamp Calgary is a 100% volunteer run event, and we can use all the help we can get! There are no special requirements to volunteer, and you’ll get a free ticket to the event and get to see how this annual event is put on from the inside.
WordCamp Calgary can use people who have technical and non-technical backgrounds. Newcomers to WordPress and WordCamps are always welcomed.
Let us know that you’d like to jump onboard by completing the application below. If you have a special skill set (such as photography) or have additional needs (such as needing to sit rather than stand) please let us know in the comment section.
We aim to have the organizing team finalized by the end of November and day of volunteers will get their assignments on a rolling basis.
If you wish to apply as a volunteer photographer, the following equipment is needed based on our event location and situations that will be photographed:
- A DSLR or comparable mirrorless camera
- At least one f2.8 lens
- Familiarity with manual controls on your camera is helpful, but not required
- Having an external lens with a diffuser is helpful, but not required
