We\u2019re going learn why static mockups don\u2019t always work, why they don\u2019t scale, and why it\u2019s better to develop reusable components in defining your responsive visual design language.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Why are style tiles\/guides needed? What problems do they solve?<br \/>\n&#8211; What are the core components of a style tile?<br \/>\n&#8211; How do they fit into a design process?<br \/>\n&#8211; How do they benefit project stakeholders such as clients, developers, project managers?<\/p>\n<h3>Why are you passionate about this talk?<\/h3>\n<p>I think great design is truly the sum of it\u2019s parts, but spending too much time on \u201cpixels perfect\u201d mockups takes focus away from the project as a whole. I want to arm designers\/developers\/clients with a better approach that will allow them to focus their attention on the big picture, and save them from hours of mind numbing design reviews and massive PDF files.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What knowledge level should an attendee have?
