The organizing team would like to send a massive thank you to everyone for attending WordCamp Calgary 2014.<\/p>\n

This year’s WordCamp was a fantastic day of great content, networking and community building for the WordPress community in Calgary. With close to\u00a0130 attendees<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a010 hours of speaker and panels<\/strong>\u00a0we hope everyone left\u00a0yesterday with\u00a0some more great knowledge and ideas.<\/p>\n

And as the organizing committee transitions into the decompression and wrap up phase, we’d like to send out a few thank yous to everyone who made WordCamp such a success.<\/p>\n

Continue The Learning<\/h2>\n

Before we start, we also wanted to send a quick note to encourage you to continue learning about\u00a0WordPress and make sure you support\u00a0The Calgary WordPress Meet-up Group<\/a>. They are currently looking for a venue sponsor since Melrose shut down, so join the group, get in touch with the group organizers\u00a0and keep the momentum going.<\/p>\n

Also make sure you follow the other great tech communities in Calgary –\u00a0such as our good friends\u00a0at\u00a0The Chic Geek<\/a>,\u00a0Pixels and Pint<\/a>s and\u00a0YYC js<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n

A massive, massive thank you to all our volunteers for their hard work and dedication for making WordCamp happen<\/strong>. Without our team of dedicated volunteers working the registration table, recording the sessions, manning the Pro Bono Lounge and running lunch this conference wouldn’t have been what it was.<\/p>\n
